Bollywood has stolen many many tunes, lyrics, plots, and songs from Pakistan and the list is endless. Bollywood stirkes again with the movie Teesri Ankh in which Abrar Ul Haq's famous song Asaan teri gal karni, Gal karni hai daddy naal was stolen. Abrar's album Assan Jana-e Mallo Mal came out somewhere between 2003-2004. The album which was produced by coke, was a instant hit. Each song was played on either radios or our TV sets for literally a year. Teesri Ankh which is a Bollywood movie starring the anti Pakistani Sunny Deol came out in 2006, produced by Pammi Baweja and Ashwani Chopra . If you go onto the IMD page for the film it says:
"Original Music by
Harry Anand
Nitin Arora (original music by)
Sony Chandy
Sukhshinder Shinda"
How laughable is that? There were rumors that perhaps Abrar Ul Haq had sold his song however in a interview to Indus TV Abrar admitted that his song had been stolen. This also would not be the first time that Abrar Ul Haq's song was copied in a sunny deol movie. Billo Te Ghar which took the entire Nation by a storm was also converted in to "Kammo ke ghar" in India.
Listen to the songs for yourself!
